Guest text messages

Messages are sent by (EVER)LY, a service of Terbium B.V., on behalf of the couple who invited you. Each message names the couple, so you always know which wedding it is about.

• Invitation and RSVP links, and requests for a mailing address for the printed invitation
• A reminder if a guest has not yet responded
• RSVP confirmations and practical updates about the event (times, venue changes)
• On the day, a link to share photos with the couple

Message frequency: up to 5 messages per event. No marketing, no promotions and no messages about anything other than the wedding you were invited to.

We only text guests who have personally given their mobile number to the couple and agreed to receive these messages. The couple asks each guest directly, in person, by phone or in writing, when inviting them. Before the guest agrees, the couple reads or sends this disclosure:

“We use (EVER)LY to send our wedding texts. We'd like to text you a personal link for your invitation and RSVP, plus a few updates about the day: up to 5 messages in total. Message and data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help or STOP at any time to opt out. Details are at everlyarchive.com/sms. Is it okay to text you, and which number should we use?”

Only guests who say yes and confirm their number are added. The couple shares those numbers with (EVER)LY, and we record each guest's consent before the first message is sent. Guests who decline are never added. Numbers are never bought, rented, shared between clients or used for any other purpose.
