Privacy policy

For our own clients (the couples) we are the controller. For guest data we act on behalf of the couple who invited you: they decide who is invited, and we process guest details only to run their wedding website and guest communications.

• Couples: names, contact details, billing details and the content of their wedding website.
• Guests: name, mobile number and, where given, email address, mailing address, RSVP answers and photos shared on the site.
• Messages: the text messages we send and any replies, and each guest's consent and opt-out status.
• Technical: basic logs needed to keep the websites secure and working.

• To build and run the couple's wedding website and RSVPs (performance of our contract with the couple).
• To send guests the invitation, RSVP and event messages they agreed to receive (consent).
• To keep records of consent and opt-outs, and to meet legal obligations.

We do not use guest data for marketing, and we do not sell personal data.

We only text guests who gave their number to the couple and agreed to receive wedding messages, as described on our guest text messages page. Replying STOP removes you from all future messages for that event.

Mobile numbers and SMS consent are not shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Numbers are only shared with the messaging providers that deliver the texts on our behalf.

Service providers that help us run the service, under data processing agreements: website hosting, database hosting, file storage and SMS delivery providers. They may only use the data to provide their service to us.

Guest details and messages are kept for the duration of the event and deleted or anonymised within 12 months after the wedding date, unless the couple asks us to delete them sooner. Opt-out records are kept as long as needed to honour them.

You can ask us for access to, correction of or deletion of your data, object to its use, or withdraw consent at any time by emailing hello@terbium.ai. You can also complain to the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).
